How to Write Better Video Prompts (The Easy Way)

๐Ÿ”‘ Rule of Thumb:

Think of it like directing a scene with your words.

Instead of just saying:

"cybernetic agent in a hallway"

You level it up with:

"cybernetic agent in a dark biomechanical hallway, cinematic camera tracking from behind, red lights flickering"

What to Include in Your Prompts:

๐ŸŽญ 1. Main Subject

Who or what are we seeing?

  • “Cybernetic soldier”

  • “Futuristic diver in glowing exosuit”

  • “Massive AI core suspended in darkness”

๐Ÿ—️ 2. Environment / Mood

What does the world around them look and feel like?

  • “Biomechanical corridor, fleshy walls, twitching wires”

  • “Sunken ruins covered in coral and neon lights”

๐ŸŽฌ 3. Camera Direction (optional but powerful!)

This tells the AI how to visualize the scene.
Here are some plug-and-play phrases:

ActionPrompt Phrase
Tracking shot“camera slowly follows from behind”
Zoom in“cinematic zoom-in on subject”
Pull back“camera pulls back to reveal scale”
Pan shot“camera pans across broken city”
Aerial shot“overhead drone view of ruins”
First-person“first-person perspective through helmet HUD”
Slow motion“slow-motion shot of...”

๐Ÿงช 4. Optional Style / Vibe Tags

Tweak the aesthetic with art style cues:

  • “cinematic lighting”

  • “epic sci-fi tone”

  • “moody cyberpunk atmosphere”

  • “inspired by H.R. Giger”

  • “anime-style action”

  • “film grain”

  • “neon noir”

๐Ÿ”ง Prompt Formula (Simple Template)

"[Subject]" in [setting], [camera direction], [mood], [style tags]"

Example:

“Glowing-eyed agent walks through a pulsing biomechanical corridor, cinematic tracking shot from behind, steam hisses from vents, gritty horror sci-fi tone, inspired by Alien and Blame!”

✨ Pro Tip:

If you’re not sure about camera angles yet, just add:

“cinematic view” or “dynamic camera motion”

Those are catch-all tags that help the AI frame it more cinematically without you micromanaging every shot.
